The Feiyu Summon is a controllable all-in-one camera with 3-axis stabilization function to shoot stable HD videos. Let’s have a look at its spec-sheet.
The latest action cam from Feiyu comes equipped with a 16MP image sensor and a 95-degree wide-angle lens. The device is capable of recording videos at 4K (25fps), 1440p (30fps), 1080p (60fps), 720p (120fps). You also get various recording options such as loop cycle recording, time-lapse, etc.
The device can capture still images too, with adjustable white balance on tap. Moreover, it sports a 2-inch screen, a micro-USB port, a micro-HDMI port and a microSD card slot. Storage of images and videos is on a microSD card that needs to be bought separately.
The Feiyu Summon is WiFi-enabled, allowing you to control the device and live-stream video from your Android or iOS smartphone. As far as the battery is concerned, you get a detachable 3000mAh Li-ion one that is claimed to last for about 180min of continuous 1080p 60fps video.
Coming back to the device, the stabilizer has a 310-degree tilting, 310-degree rolling and 310-degree panning angle range. In addition, the device is made up of a super-rigid all metal body. Another unique feature is the inclusion of a fill-flash LED at the front for night and low-light shooting. To add to the feature list, the Feiyu Summon’s brushless motors can be programmed to rotate at a fixed pace for enhanced timelapse photography.
Inside the box, you get the camera of course, a micro-USB cable, a user manual, a lens cover and a storage box. All this for under $399 shipped.
